Located in Gilbert, Arizona, Test For Echo is a home recording studio ideally suited to the soloist or duo.

Offering professional quality recording services in a comfortable environment is our goal. Great recordings take more than the best equipment and software. Great recordings require someone that knows the operation of the equipment, how to get a good sound on disk and the creativity to bring your project to life. We use Logic Studio 8 as our preferred recording software. Not that we can’t work with ProTools sessions, it’s just that we have found Logic to be suited to the creativity of an open session better than ProTools. We have the ability then to pass the session back and forth to studios that use other formats. This also means that you can bring in your sessions and use our studio to add overdubs, solos, or mix the final product. What makes this important is that we can work out the basic tracks and overdubs in our comfortable, creative environment, and then move to a larger facility to record drums or other tracks. Then we bring the session back to Test For Echo Recording for the final mix. At this stage we add texture to the colors of the music. Our plug-ins include Antares, Waves, Native Instruments, and a host of outstanding plug-ins that come with the Logic Studio 8 package.

The home recording approach doesn’t put limits on creativity due to budget constraints. Test For Echo Recording provides the equipment, quality, affordability, and creativity to build your project. The owner and engineer at Test For Echo Recording is also a musician. Jeff Hollowell started playing drums at the age of 9 and has picked up a variety of instruments in the last 30 years.
